Tulsa State Fair Part II

Last week I shared a some photos of the grandcrew enjoying the midway at the Tulsa State Fair earlier this month.  One of the primary reasons we went to the fair was to see the National Sugar Arts Show.  If you watch the Food Network Challenge show, you have seen cake and sugar art competitions.  One of the judges, Kerri Vincent, lives in Tulsa and is the reason this show is a part of the fair.  Here are a few examples of the incredible work that was on display.  Remember, all of these are edible.

  1. They may all be edible, but who would destroy things like that? Fabulous productions.

  5. Sara: They are truly sculpters that just happen to work with cake/sugar as their medium of expression.

Su-sieee: No, these were for display only.

Julie: The fireman was my favorite as well. The detail work is incrredible. I may post additional photos of it later.

Sandee: To be honest, the cake exhibition was our primary reason for going to the fair.
