I Shoulda Been a Cowboy

I like wandering through flea markets.  One never knows what is waiting around the next corner.  As a child of the fifties and sixties, and growing up in Oklahoma, my life was filled with cowboy heroes.  There was the Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Wild Bill Hickok, and the gentleman pictured above, Hopalong Cassiday.  These stars appeared in movies, had radio shows and eventually made the transition to television.  As long as "Hoppy" was on the scene, good always overcame evil.  You will notice that not all good guys wear white hats.  Some days I think that "I Shoulda Been a Cowboy".

  1. Oh I loved all those shows and more. Sometimes we see them on television. My son likes them and I don't have to worry about what he'll see or hear while watching them.

  2. I watched all these shows too. I never wanted to be a cowboy though. Perhaps a cowgirl.

    Have a terrific day. ☺

I have a buddy actually from New Brunswick that would probably like to have that license plate too. :)
