Christmas ornaments come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and themes. These three represent first responders. These are the first people on the scene of some of life tragic events. They must bring skill, training, compassion, and professionalism to the point of contact with the public in the most difficult of times. Many of them have to work holidays while the remainder of society takes a break from their labors. Whether it is spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in a police station, Fire Station or Hospital, or military personnel stationed around the world many of our countrymen will have their minds consumed by one thought, being home for Christmas. I am ever thankful for those who have chosen to make service to others their life work. Have a blessed Christmas season.
