It only took the Texas Rangers fifty years to earn the title of American League Champions. My wife and I lived in Dallas/Ft. Worth for a couple of years and we would go to several games a year. It was always a fun evening at the ballpark and the Rangers became my team of choice. Before that, I grew up watching Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford and the rest of the Yankees on TV. Congratulations to Nolan Ryan and the Rangers organization for a job well done.
