Midnight Hour

This photo may not be as dramatic as some of the sunrise/sunset photos I've captured the past couple of years, but it is the brightest full moon in 18 years and it will be another 18 years before it happens again.  I shot this from our back deck, which means "through the trees".  Maybe I should have saved this one for Halloween.  Just sayin'.
So, now what do I do for an inspirational song this week. The past couple of weeks have been challenging.  There have been a couple of personnel issues at the office I have had to resolve.  That's what managers do.   I am in the process of having our website redesigned, looking into how we can use Twitter and Facebook as a part of our marketing effort, and developing the next mailer.  I'll start traveling in a couple of weeks and that will continue through the end of May.  Oh yeah, and I teach a Sunday School class each week.  It just seems like there is too much to do and too little time to get it done.  Something's gotta give.  Some days I just feel like I've been through the fire.  One thing about life,  God never promised it would be easy.  In fact, as Christians we are promised that there will be difficulties and rejection.  Anyone who tells you differently is not being honest with you, nor are they getting that information from God's word.  The one thing that God did promise His children is that He would always be there, even when we have to go "Through The Fire."  Just hold on!  Have a blessed week-end.

  1. There is no easy anything. It's our approach that counts. I do better some days than others. Love the music as always and the moon shot is fantastic.

Have a terrific day and take a little time for you. Big hug. :)

  3. This is one beautiful moon popping out its head through the branches of that tree. You did a great job with this night shot.

  4. Nice pic. You know you can reuse it at Halloween and I don't think anybody would mind.

I know what you mean when you talk about something has to give. I love being a manager most times watching people grow in their jobs and as people but sometimes they aren't growing and things need fixed and that is when it is not so much fun.

  5. I really missed the moon watch. It was cloudy and the moon was not visible.

Well done for this eerie shot!
