Aww Monday

I can't remember the last time I participated in Aww Monday. Back in January my wife and I sold our home and move back into town. Our previous home was surrounded by woods and a wonderful variety of birds and animals. I do miss that part of our former residence. Well, the new residence has a couple of critters that have decided to call our backyard home. Here are a coupe of images of one of them.

Since we don't have a dog or a cat that patrols the back yard, this bunny has decided that our house is a safe haven for him/her to spend the summer, the entire year. I have a pallet of landscape stones, on the side of the house, that he/she has determined is the ideal residence. There is one more, smaller cottontail, that I believe also resides in our yard but it's not quite as camera friendly. This one will let me get within about ten feet of it before it starts getting nervous and looking for an escape route.
