There have been a lot of events that have changed this world that we live in. The Revolutionary War established the United States as an independent, self governing country. World War II called upon those who would become known as "The Greatest Generation" to save the world from the tyranny of Nazi Germany. Setting foot on the moon seemed to make the world smaller, and the internet revolutionized the way that we communicate.
