Ruby Tuesday

For our family, vacation is all about the lake.  We swim in it, fish in it, tube on it, kayak or paddle boat on it.  From the day that we get to the resort, until the day we leave, most of our time is spent in the water, on the water or near the water.  If we're not around the lake, you can find us around the pool.  It's just the most enjoyable type of vacation ever.  It's better than Disney World...and we've been there twice.  Hope you had a great summer.

  1. Looks like a wonderful way to spend your vacation to me. The kids look like they are having the time of their lives. This is what memories are made of.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  2. Beats sweating it out in amusement park crowds in 100 degree heat. I love Disneyland - I'm a west coaster - but not in the summer time. I prefer going in the off season.

  3. Adorable kids. I love their smiling faces.

  4. A lake is a great place to play, especially with that heat down South! When I was a kid one summer many decades ago, the family rented a house near a lake in (then) remote Quebec - there was a rock not too far out that the locals and we kids could swim to - a fun vacation but that Canadian water was COLD! It has been an interesting summer but school and work are more in focut at the end of the season...

  5. Looks so much fun!
