This weeks Scavenger Hunt definitely had a Romance theme implied, but anyone who knows me will tell you that when it comes to photography, I will color outside the lines, if given the opportunity. Let's see what ended up in front of the camera.
Candy
I have to admit I love this prompt because it gave me an excuse to by my favorite chocolate candies as models. We don't keep much candy around the house, for obvious reasons.
Red or Pink
Here I am coloring outside the lines. This is a Red Shouldered Hawk. I photographed him in a tree, about 100 yards from my office. There are a pair of these nesting somewhere nearby and they spend several mornings each week hunting from this tree. I didn't have my "big" lens with me so this is not the best capture, but he does qualify as "Red".
Love
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) That pretty much sums it up.
Kisses
The only thing better than Kisses, is Hugs & Kisses...complements of the folks from Hershey. Yep, it was another excuse to make a purchase...for the sake of art, of course.
Smile
These are the two youngest grand kids. They spend a great deal of their time annoying one another, but the truth is, they love each other and will take on the world together.
Have a blessed Sunday.
I'm not alone in my sweet tooth I'm glad to see. What great smiles from the Grandkids!
