Today I decided to have a little fun with some filters that are available to PhotoShop & Elements users. This image was taken at a recent event on our local town square. With just one click of the "Convert to Black & White" button, we step back in time.
This image could have been taken during a similar celebration in the '40's or '50's. It might even have been a pristine image taken during the Civil War. However, just a couple of more clicks from additional filters, available free through Google NIK software, and the image becomes an original that has been recently discovered after being locked away in someone's attic for over a century and a half. Have a blessed day.
It is fun to manipulate the images!ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/09/los-viejos.html. I hope you enjoyed my edit as well.
Wow, you went from today way back to the civil war. Talent, pure talent.ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Great job, I love using filters and learning from others, like you, how they use filters. I have Photoshop and am continuing to pay the monthly fee but haven't bothered to use it for a whole lot. Obviously I am missing out on a great tool.ReplyDelete
