When I was a youngster, it was quite common for ads to be painted on sides of buildings. They really add texture to the fabric of a small town or larger city.
I love the old advertisements. I usually see them on old buildings when I am viewing from the train. Love how they painted right on the brick! Great photos .. thanks
Great pictures! My fave is the one of the old cigar advertisement. I love those old ads painted on brick buildings.

DeleteThis reminded me of the Burma Shame ads along the road when I was a kit. I think because of the cigar ad.
