Did you ever look as a sunset and ask yourself, "Where does the sun go?" Then you found out that the sun doesn't really move, it is this planet that we call home that rotates around our light source that causes the sunrises and sunsets for us to enjoy.
As a Christian, have you ever asked yourself, "Where did God go?" For some reason He seems to be distant. He seems to have moved away from you or doesn't seem to be responding to your pleas for help. Closer inspection of our relationship with the Lord will almost always reveal that it is us who have moved. We have drifted away from our source of light. The good news is that no matter how far away we run from the one who loves us the most, He is never more than a prayer away. God is always ready to restore the relationship with his creation. It is only our guilt and pride that prevent us from returning to the Creator of life and the giver of the abundant life. God wants to walk with us everyday, until that day when we will fly away.
Have a blessed week-end.
