A 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline. My mother bought one new in 1949 and kept it until 1955. I never drove it because I didn't turn 16 until 1957. Not many of these around any more.
We didn't have one of these, but our list is long too. My mother loved all things Cadillac and the bigger the fins the better. Bless her heart. A Cadillac would be my last choice in cars. Just saying.

Looks like it's all there and not in too bad a shape. From the plate, hasn't been on the road in awhile, but thats easy to rectify! Always love the old car posts...

ReplyDeleteHi, I’m Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com), and I’m visiting from In Him We Live’s linky.
ReplyDeleteI know next to nothing about cars, but I know this one looks pretty cool! I'm assuming you have plans to restore?
Anyway, thanks for posting this. If you’ve never visited yet, I hope you can pop by my blog sometime to say hi…

What a beauty. With a little TLC, it could be brought back to good-as-new condition. Thanks for sharing this!
