I have to admit, these were not the easiest prompts to come up with appropriate images.  Let's see how these captures work.

Unusual Crop
I just decided to use a stock crop pattern found in PhotoShop Elements.  We've had a long winter, and we're looking forward to the flowers of spring, so I just combined the two concepts into this image.  That's all I got.

One of my favorite buildings is Tulsa, OK is the Fairgrounds Pavilion.  It is a beautiful art deco structure and is decorated with wonderful terracotta murals.  While the building, as a whole, is very attractive the real beauty is in the...

On The Ground
In the fall, not all of the color is in the trees.  When the leaves begin to fall they often carpet the ground in a myriad of color.  Sometimes the best view is on the ground.
Blooper
I have no idea what I was attempting to accomplish in this image, but I'm pretty sure that I missed the mark.  Rest assured, this is the last time you will see this image posted.

  Color
Earlier this week I posted images that showed how colorful athletic footwear had become the past few years.  In truth, athletic gear in general has become much more colorful.  Here is a sock display at an Under Armor store.  Trust me, athletic tops and bottoms are just as colorful.  With very little effort you can glow in the dark.  Have a blessed Sunday.

  2. Oh great set of photos, and each and everyone is special in it's own detail really. I just adore your splash of color, as I was tempted to do except winter is keeping me so blue.....so....well, you'll just have to check it out for yourself. Enjoy your day!

  3. Great pics and I especially liked seeing the one of the Tulsa Fairgrounds Pavilion.
My grandsons like those colorful (and very expensive) socks.

  4. I totally missed the "crop" thing. Between the possibility of nice stock crops and my new fascination with "tiny planet" effects I'm thinking that this might be the year I get photoshop elements. I'm also a big fan of the old fairgrounds pavillion and the details on it.

    1. You won't regret purchasing PhotoShop Elements. I've been using it since version 3. I'm now using V12.

  5. 10 years ago most of us, especially guys, would not have been caught DEAD wearing those colors. Now, you are out of place if you don't. How times change.

  9. I love the unusual crop photo. I have been to the fairgrounds more times than I can count and even take a few pictures of the Pavilion, but have never got close enough physically or behind the lens to see all that detail! Great job!

  10. I had a difficult time with these prompts as well. I thought of crop as something that grows...don't know why a photographic crop never occurred to me...
