Okay, so that sky is crystal blue and not all that interesting, but the chapel and the autumn colors are a different story. Recently my wife and I spent a few days at Big Cedar Lodge on Table Rock Lake, near Branson, MO. The whole complex is owned by Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris. Recently, they have added a complex with a golf course, event center, restaurants, this chapel and a honeymoon cabin. The chapel alone is enough to make you want to renew your vows. There is no better time to visit Big Cedar than autumn. The colors are just spectacular and the weather was perfect. How about you, do you ever plan a fall getaway? You really should.
Loved your new header. Very much. I like the color shot too. Beautiful.

What a serene picture - we have both posted a chapel for today's Skywatch Friday!
ReplyDeleteThe crystal blue sky is the perfect backdrop for that chapel, and the colored leaves add just the right accent. (I've learned never to apologise for a blue sky. After all, I'm not in control of the wind and clouds!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty chapel. I love blue skies - it comes from growing up in a place where they were rare.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and picturesque.
ReplyDeleteOur sky also clear here in North Idaho. It been so cold that clouds can't form the low last (11/13) was at 8
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Nicely shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a spectacular shot! That chapel is gorgeous. I would love to see the inside.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. That neck of the woods is just so pretty.
ReplyDeleteShalom Driller. I'm visiting first time via SkyWatch Friday.
ReplyDeleteIt is a delight to see this church in the Ozarks, especially since I just read the wonderful book "The Architecture of the Arkansas Ozarks."
